Under Appreciated LoZ games: Why they need more Love!

Have you as Zelda gamers ever noticed that some games in the series are really great, but don't get that much love in the public eye? Why is this you may ask? I can give two theories on this subject. One, that some of the games are made by Capcom as well as Nintendo, and they two have a strain relationship with each other so Nintendo gives less attention to the games they produce with Capcom. Two, that these games were not given a big pizzazz opening at E3 like some of their games do. So, they were not completely heard of like some of the other big Zelda titles. Their are some titles that come to mind when the term under appreciated is place next to them. Those titles are LoZ: Link's Awakening, LoZ: The Minish Cap, LoZ: Spirit Tracks. All these games are really great plays, but for some reason they are not favored in the public eye like other big LoZ titles like, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, and the original Legend Of Zelda game. All of this series of games are great! So, why are some more popular than others? The only answers are conjecture and theories. We may never know just why this is happening to this series, but we know it happens to all game series. Unless one game is truly horrible then why give it so little attention? I guess one day we will know why.

  1. I've never played minish cap, but I have played the other two. I really liked spirit tracks.
