Under Appreciated LoZ games: Why they need more Love!

Have you as Zelda gamers ever noticed that some games in the series are really great, but don't get that much love in the public eye? Why is this you may ask? I can give two theories on this subject. One, that some of the games are made by Capcom as well as Nintendo, and they two have a strain relationship with each other so Nintendo gives less attention to the games they produce with Capcom. Two, that these games were not given a big pizzazz opening at E3 like some of their games do. So, they were not completely heard of like some of the other big Zelda titles. Their are some titles that come to mind when the term under appreciated is place next to them. Those titles are LoZ: Link's Awakening, LoZ: The Minish Cap, LoZ: Spirit Tracks. All these games are really great plays, but for some reason they are not favored in the public eye like other big LoZ titles like, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, and the original Legend Of Zelda game. All of this series of games are great! So, why are some more popular than others? The only answers are conjecture and theories. We may never know just why this is happening to this series, but we know it happens to all game series. Unless one game is truly horrible then why give it so little attention? I guess one day we will know why.

What Can We Expect From Skyward Sword?

Last year at E3 Nintendo announced the release of another game in the beloved Legend of Zelda series. It is to be released some time this year. As you can see from the trailer (posted above) the designers took some of the same look that Link had in Twilight Princess, but it has the feel of a N64 game in some of the graphic. According to some of my resources the story of Skyward Sword is supposed to take place before Ocarina of Time. So what can we expect to see in this game if that is true? Will Ganondorf be the main villain yet again or will a new villain be created? Perhaps an older villain will appear? What is Link going to have to go through in order to defeat the villain (Ganondorf or not) this time. What life style will he be living this time? Country ranch boy, Woodland fairy boy, or something different?
There are many questions about what will be in this game, but we'll have to wait and see what the designers have in store for us once the game is finally released. In my opinion from looking at the trailer this game looks like it's going to be a good one. My only hopes for this game is that they do not have Ganondorf in it because (a) he's being the main console boss for way too long and (b) if he is in it they will be scewing the timeline. That is unless Ganondorf is only a kid or something. But, what do you think should be in the game? I'd love to here it!

The Legend of Zelda Video Tribute

This is the first video I made for this site. It's a slide show of some of the art from the Zelda games. It starts at the original game and continues through (what I hope is the right order) chronological all the other games, but its not very long. I hope you like it. If you want me to fix anything I'll make sure to do that on the following videos I make and post up for your viewing. Thanks! :)
